Susan and Bill, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's death. I have such fond memories of summer afternoons at your house, playing school in the basement, jacks on the front porch (the best cement in the entire neighborhood for jacks) and kickball in the empty lot next door. Even when miffed at us, your dad was always on the lookout for the joke in it all. I can still picture the shake of his head and his chuckle. Thank you for sharing your family with me. Hugs, Denise

To the Myers family, I was a student of your dad's at Stanton graduated i in 81. I had a handicap and had trouble with marching, your dad was so kind to me.One of my fondest memories of him was he took a week of his own lunch time to work with me on marching. His kindness and compassion for me has stayed with me all my life. What a great man he was. I will be praying for you to feel the comfort of the Lord at this time. Tina Waggoner Hartline

What a wonderful man he was. He used to tease me that I looked like the little girl on Little House on the Prairie. He certainly was a respected man that we all as his band students loved. Prayers and comfort for you all!

I loved your dad and my fondest memories in school are music related. What a legacy he left us all. Susan, you stayed with me at band camp once. My parents are both gone so my heart goes out to you all.
