Charles Lee ‘Chuck’ Fisher, Sr., 60, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
Chuck was born Sept. 15, 1956 in Steubenville son of the late, Robert and Evelyn (Bohmer) Fisher.
He and his wife, Debbie, were the former owners of Roxanne’s Restaurant in Toronto. Chuck attended the First United Methodist Church in Toronto and he was a Past Commander of the Toronto American Legion Post #86.
Chuck served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy.
He leaves behind his wife, Debbie (Dilley) Fisher whom he married Oct. 4, 1974; his daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Welch of Richmond, OH and his son, Chuck Fisher, Jr. of Toronto; his brother, Robert (Dot) Fisher of Youngstown, OH; sisters Ruby Fisher of Toronto and Kathy Johnston of West Branch, MI and his grandson, Robbie Fisher of Point Pleasant, WV.
Visitation and the funeral service for Chuck will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Visitation will be held from 4 until the time of his service at 7 pm. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate and his burial will be held at the convenience of his family. There will also be a presentation of his flag by members of the Toronto American Legion.
