Doris M. (Devlin) Risnear

Doris M. Risnear, 92 of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 in Trinity Medical Center West ER in Steubenville, OH.

Doris was born April 2, 1926 in Toronto, daughter of the late Arthur and Edith (Stock) Devlin.

She was formerly employed at the former Brewster Trailer Court and Convenient Food Mart in Toronto.

Doris was a member of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Risnear in 1982; her grandson, William ‘Billy’ Risnear, Jr., an infant brother, her two sisters, Helene Romey and Betty Crawford and one brother, Thomas Devlin.

Surviving are her two sons, William ‘Bill’ (Margery) Risnear of Pembroke Pines, FL and John (Barbara) Risnear of Toronto; two daughters, Pauline (Harry) Wells of Hopedale, OH, Deborah (Duane) Jackson of Toronto and one brother, William ‘Bill’ Devlin of Salem, OH. She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 4 - 8 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Additional viewing will take place Thursday morning at the funeral home from 9 am til 9:45 am followed by a Requiem Divine Liturgy at 10 am at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto by the Reverend Father John Kapitan, Jr. OFM. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
