Dorothy Jean 'Dee Dee' Strupe

Dorothy Jean ‘Dee Dee’ Strupe, 46, of Mingo Jct., OH, passed away Sunday June 12, 2016 in her home.

She was born Oct. 31, 1969 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of Jean (Bontempo) Strupe, who survives, and the late Marion F. Strupe.

Dee Dee was formerly employed at the Ball Corp. in Weirton, WV.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Strupe and by her nephew Steven Strupe.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Jean Strupe of Rayland, OH are three brothers, David Strupe and his fiancé Sherri Engel of Canton, OH, John (Tammy) Strupe and Howard Strupe all of Mingo Jct.; two sisters, Suzanne Maguschak of Smithfield, OH, and Marie Theodore of CA; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Wilford Simeral officiating. Burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.
