Howard V. Lyons

Howard V. Lyons, 78, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.

Howard was born June 2, 1939 in Toronto, son of the late Everett and Virginia (Edge) Lyons.

He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. where worked in the 80” Hot Strip Mill as a heater.

Howard was a member of the N. River Ave. Christian Church in Toronto, the Toronto Masonic Lodge #583 F&AM 32nd Degree and the Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Berl Lyons and his sister, Mamie Idella Voll.

Howard leaves behind his wife, Barbara Jean (Schultz) Lyons; his son, Bryan Howard (Deborah) Lyons of Columbus, OH, and his daughter, Brenda Mishal Lyons of Loveland, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 5-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home. Rev. Luke Hightshue will officiate and his burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH. Masonic Services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:45 pm.
