JoAnn K. 'Cookie' Moody

JoAnn K. ‘Cookie’ Moody, 65, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

JoAnn was born Oct. 13, 1949 in Steubenville, daughter of the late John and Margaret Savage Williams.

Cookie was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ Church in Steubenville, she was a former member of the Smithfield Eastern Star and she worked as a processor in the RUE 21 Distribution Center.

In addition to her parents, Cookie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Moody who passed in 2002; her three sisters, Jane Woodrum, Betty Keenan and Elaine Hanlin; three brothers, John, Don and Eddie Williams.

JoAnn leaves behind her two daughters, Jodie (Joey) Maxwell of Weirton, WV and Dawn Moody of Toronto; her brother, Jerry (JoAnn) Williams of Wintersville, OH; her three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Trevor and Abigail Maxwell. Cookie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for JoAnn will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Steubenville.
