Linda L. (Sheets) Grimm

Linda L. Grimm, 70, of Stratton, OH, passed away Sunday Aug. 21, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born Oct. 30, 1945 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Miles) Sheets.

She was a retired custodian who cleaned for many local businesses. Linda also loved playing bingo mostly at the Richmond Fire Dept. on Sunday evenings.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Sammy Ward and by her step-son Charles Grimm.

Surviving is her husband, Charles P. Grimm, whom she married on Oct. 22, 1997; her son Charles and his companion Jessie of Toronto, OH; two daughters, Robin (Steve) McCoy and Karen (Bruce) Bates all of Toronto; two step-children, Dottie (Randy) Baker of Mequon, WI and Christopher (LeAnn) Grimm of Hopedale, OH; her two sisters, Joyce (Lynn) Starr of Stratton, Charlene (Donald) McCue of Middletown, OH and her brother Charles (Pam) Sheets of New Alexandria, OH; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Following Linda’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  She will be cremated and her burial will be at the convenience of her family. Her family would like to extend a thank you to Valley Hospice for their care and compassion.

Linda’s arrangements are in the care of J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto.
