Mary M. (Badgett) Skinner

Mary M. (Badgett) Skinner, 75, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Mary was born Jan. 26, 1941 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Roy E. and Margaret E. (Butcher) Badgett.

She worked for 37 years as a Supervisor at the former Braceland Brothers in Steubenville.

Mary had a love for her yard, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved working and always staying busy.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Ricky A. Skinner.

Mary leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Norman D. Skinner; her daughter, Brenda (Jim) Reed; her grandsons, Jamie (Elizabeth) Reed and Travis (Cheri) Reed all of Toronto; her great-grandchildren, Braiden, Teagan, Orion and Parker Reed; her sister, Carolyn (Joe) Litten of Marysville, OH; her great-aunt Margarauite Foulks of Parkersburg; her god-son, Rick (Sunni) Prosser of Weirton, WV and several special nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Eric Frey officiating. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
