Michael N. Simone

Michael N. Simone, 77, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mike was born Oct. 11, 1939 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Patric and Lina (Noonan) Simone.

He was retired from Hancock Manufacturing in Toronto where he worked as a Purchasing Agent. Mike also was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto.

Mike leaves behind his wife, Eleanor R. ‘Lou’ (Nalepa) Simone, whom he married Aug. 17, 1963; his son, Michael (Melissa) Simone of Gahanna, OH; his three daughters, Melissa (Michael) Hill of Cleveland, OH, Jennifer (Matt) Karaffa and Caryn (Matt) Bodnar both of Toronto; his sister, Lina (Joe) Leonard of E. Liverpool, OH; his sister-in-law, Marie Allen of Stratton, OH; his seven grandchildren, Jessica and Jake Simone, Jack, Nathan and Noah Karaffa, Hank and Haley Bodnar.

A Memorial Liturgy with Mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 10:30 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto with Fr. Thomas Vennitti as Celebrant. His burial will be held at the convenience of his family. There will be an hour of memorial visitation in the rear of the church from 9:30 am til time of Mass at 10:30am.
