Priscilla D. (Frey) Campbell

Priscilla Dean Campbell, 89, of Toronto, OH, passed away June 21, 2015 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Priscilla was born January 1, 1926, to the late George and Annie Linton Frey in Wellsburg, WV.

Priscilla was a member of the Hilltop Presbyterian Church, an avid artist whose oil paintings won many awards. She also enjoyed gardening, homemaking, fishing and being surrounded by her family.  During WWII, she worked as a nurse at the former Gill Hospital. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 68 years, Richard Campbell, who passed away on Oct. 1, 2014; brothers, George Frey, Grant Frey, Roger Frey and Curtis Frey; sisters, Mildred Duvall, Alberta Miller and Geraldine Schmidt.

She is survived by her three children, Charlotte Cline, Judy (Dave) Bickler and John (Tammy) Campbell; brother, Gary (Marilyn) Frey; sisters, Betty Jane Fitchner, Lillian Simko and Shirley Cool; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Priscilla will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Meyers officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
