Rhonda Sue (Anderson) Saffel

Rhonda Sue Anderson Saffel, age 52 of Laurinburg passed away at Morrison Manor on Friday, March 03, 2017.

Rhonda was born in Steubenville, Ohio on May 5, 1964, daughter of Rita Marie McGrath Anderson and the late Ronald L. Anderson.  She was a devoted homemaker and before her illness, worked with the Scotland County Tax Collector Office.  She served as a member of Multitudes Church and enjoyed being a member of the Southern Heritage Motorcycle Club.  Rhonda loved singing, caring for her pets and sharing time with her friends on Facebook.    She will always be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister and special aunt.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Lee Anderson Kenny; her grandparents, Charles and Ruth Marie McGrath, Harry and Eunice Anderson.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Jay Michael Saffel of the home; mother, Rita Marie Anderson Turner and step father, Frank Turner; a brother, Ronald L. Anderson, Jr., and wife Lisa; brother-in-law, Mike Kenny and step sisters, Shayna Burgher, Amy Turner and Melinda Rosen.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kayla Kenny, Tyler Kenny, Trevor Kenny, Matthew Anderson, Ashley Anderson and a host of loving family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Thurs., Mar. 9 from 5-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH followed by her funeral service at 7pm with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. A committal service will be held on Friday at 11:30 am at Chapel Hill Mem. Gardens in Weirton, WV with Pastor Marlin Hawley followed by a luncheon at Mercy Baptist Church in Weirton.
