Robert H. 'Bob' Roush, Sr.

Robert H. ‘Bob’ Roush, Sr., 71, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Trinity Med. Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Bob was born Jun 19, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Harold and Carolyn (Tollan) Roush.

He was retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. where he was a crane man in the 80 inch. Bob was a member of the Restoration Church of Steubenville, the Steubenville PAC, the PNA and a social member of the American Legion Post #33.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Samuel Robinson.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Juanita J. (Boyer) Roush whom he married Dec. 14, 1964; his son, Robert H. (Brenda) Roush II of Toronto; his two daughters, Carrie (Russell) Hodgkiss of Toronto and Holly (Christopher) Scaffidi of Steubenville; his seven grandchildren, Russell Hodgkiss, Kayla (Aaron) Mosti, Tyler Roush, Ekaterina, Parker, Elliana and Paxton Scaffidi; one great-granddaughter, Addilynn Mosti.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, June 11 from 1-6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Bob’s funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am at his church, Restoration Church 108 Phillips Lane in Steubenville. Pastor Gary C. Lilly will officiate and burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
