Robert F. Yanda

Robert F. Yanda, 79, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Bob was born Jan. 11, 1937 in Dillonvale, OH, son of the late Frank and Elsie (Merkel) Janda.

Bob was a retired Insurance Agent. He was a member of the Pine Valley, Mingo and Short Creek Sportsman Clubs.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Dolores (Douglas) Yanda, who passed away June 13, 2013; his daughter Denise Lopez in 1990; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Yanda in 2008, Daren Ronevich in 2009; his brother Don Yanda in 2016.

Surviving are his two sons, Randy (Linda) Yanda of Dillonvale and Kevin (Jeanne) Yanda of Follansbee, WV; his son-in-law A.J. Lopez of Dillonvale with whom he resided; his brother Charles (Janice) Yanda of Miami, FL; three grandchildren, Leslie Lopez and her partner Katie Piacquadio of Columbus, OH, Jason (Lou Ann) Yanda and Lisa Ronevich both of Weirton, WV; three step-grandchildren, Kristy (Chris) Jones, Nicole Fillinger and Renee (Duane) Fillinger all of Wellsburg, WV; three great-grandchildren, Delilah and Colton Yanda and Zoey Ronevich all of Weirton; four step-great-grandchildren, Michael and Jack Jones, Rocco Maguschak and Parker Whear all of Wellsburg.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of Bob’s family. Bob’s arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. Smithfield, OH.
