Rose I. (Jordan) Bell

Rose I. (Jordan) Bell, 87, of Rayland, OH, passed away Thursday April 21, 2016 in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH.

She was born April 24, 1928 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late George William and Elsie Laura (Porter) Jordan.

Rose was retired from Weirton Steel Corp., where she worked for 17 years as an inspector in the Tin Mill. Rose attended the Plum Run Church of Christ.

She always loved to plant flowers so she showered her yard with color. Rose was a quiet person but dedicated to her family and friends. We will miss you mom.

Rose will be waiting at Heaven’s door to be with her deceased husband, Wayne Richard Bell and her son, Wayne Richard Bell II.

She is survived by her children, John Tilton Bell of Rayland, OH and Linda Rose (Richard) Spencer of Steubenville, her nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Rose will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2016 from 4-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. William Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Alexandria Cemetery.
