Brandon Michael Joyce

Brandon Michael Joyce, 16, of Steubenville, OH (Pleasant Hill) passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Brandon was born Nov. 16, 2000 in Steubenville, son of Christopher P. and Lori A. (Granatir) Joyce.

He was a sophomore student at Edison Local High School where he also was a member of their FFA Chapter.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard T. Granatir.

In addition to his parents, Chris and Lori, Brandon is survived by his older brother, Christopher D. and his younger brother Jeremy T. Joyce; his paternal grandparents, George and Barbara Joyce of Toronto, OH; his aunt and uncle, Rich (Rachael) Granatir and his favorite cousins, Coleman, Maddie and Adrienne Granatir all of Irondale, OH; his aunt, Jamie Granatir. Brandon also leaves behind many friends, classmates and all of his doctors and nurses at Children’s Hospital.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 1-4 pm at the Bell Chapel UMC in Pleasant Hill. His funeral service will start at 4 pm with Rev. Jeff Proya and Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. His burial will be private at Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.

Brandon’s arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
