Jacqueline V. (Byers) Piatt

Jacqueline V. Piatt, 90, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Trinity West ER in Steubenville, OH.

Jackie was born March 22, 1929 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Clifford and Virginia (Brown) Byers.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Toronto. Jackie previously worked in the kitchen of the Empire Grade School and she was an asst. manager for the Label Co. Apts. at Riverside Manor until her retirement.  

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Piatt, Sr., who passed Jan. 10, 1995, an infant son Jeff, grandson Douglas Perkins, infant granddaughter Andrea Piatt, her sister and two brothers.

Jackie leaves behind her three sons, Thomas L. (Darlene) Piatt of Stratton, Clifford W. (Lisa) Piatt of NC and Audrey J. (Amy) Piatt of Toronto; her three daughters, Linda J. (John) Garren of Newark, OH, Sherry L. (Randy) Perkins of Toronto and Sandra Kay (David) Olesky of Williamsburg, VA. Jacky is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, April 2 from 4 - 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Pastor Dan Crowe will officiate and burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto.

Following the services at the cemetery the family and friends will be gathering for a luncheon at the Stratton Municipal Building. www.jefosterfh.com
