Dear Mary Lou and Family,
Mary Lou, I remember the time I met you and Jared.....it was the first time I had ever been at one of your family reunions in Ohio a few years ago. I specifically remember having a great conversation with you and Jared....and some good laughs. I am John Green's friend Carmela, and he really wanted me to meet both of you. You both, right away, made me feel so welcome and right at home. I will always remember that. My deepest condolences go to you Mary Lou and your family. Please find some peace in knowing that Jared is now resting in the arms of the Lord and he will be watching over you always! May God be with you Mary Lou and your family now and all the days to come. Love....Carmela Acampora

Mary Lou & family,

Your have my deepest sympathy, Jerry was a wonderful man and I'm so very honored that I got the chance to know him, he put a smile on my face every time I came over, I'm going to miss sitting with him and watching the news. I'm glad I got the chance that I did to get to know him! If ever you need anything I'm only a phone call away, you and Jerry have made such an impact in my life, seeing you two together is an inspiration. The love you two had for each other is something you don't see much of anymore. So thank you for letting me be a part of your lives. Jerry will forever be in my heart!

To Mary Lou and Family:
My heart broke when I got the word. The news instantly gave my a feeling of emptiness. Jerry, my Buddy, is not hurting anymore! He is in heaven with God. I hope that fact comforts all of you as much as it does me. You all have become so much like family to me! Love you all.
