Marilyn J. (Lutton) Furbee, 83, of Hammondsville, OH, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.
Marilyn was born Feb. 2, 1935 in E. Liverpool, OH, daughter of the late William and Hazel (Workman) Lutton.
She was a member of the Hammondsville United Methodist Church and was attending Bell Chapel U.M.C. where she was involved with the United Methodist Women of the Church. Marilyn worked at the former Hills Dept. Store and Henderson’s Valley Market.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Janice Furbee and her aunt, Ellen Wilson.
Marilyn leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Delbert E. Furbee whom she married April 7, 1952; her two sons, Gene (Stephanie) Furbee of Wellsville, OH and JR (Jennifer) Furbee of Hammondsville; her daughter, Cindy (Buzz) Cooper of Toronto, OH and her twelve grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 15 from 2 – 6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Her funeral will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 11 am with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating and burial will follow in the Hammondsville Cemetery.
