Nadejda ‘Nada’ Todd, 86, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
Nada was born Dec. 17, 1933 in Follansbee, WV, daughter of the late Elia and Elizabeth (Dimitrova) Gesheff. She was a 1951 graduate of Follansbee High School.
Nada leaves behind her four daughters, Susy and husband Rob Eft of Steubenville and their sons, David (Abbi) Eft and Steve (Leah) Eft; Sandy Rollo of Steubenville and her daughters, Jennifer Rollo (Art) Groscost, Crissy Bostic (Beau) Rowley and Carrie Rollo; Sherry Ullom of Toronto, OH and ex-spouse Hank Ullom and their sons, Lucas (Mallory) Ullom and Marcus Ullom; Shirley Clegg of Toronto and her son, Todd (Jessica) Clegg and daughter, Lauren Clegg Waggoner; her ten great-grandchildren, Delaney Groscost, Maddison Rowley, Jaime Rowley, Tommy Rowley, Clegg Lucas Waggoner, Easton Altieri, TJ Clegg, Alexandria Eft, Jordy and Jensyn Eft; her two sisters, Sophie Sanders of Steubenville and Helen Nicodemus of Follansbee.
In addition to her parents, Nada was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin ‘Sonny’ Todd who passed April 28, 2015, granddaughter Julie Rollo, brother Thomas Gesheff, two sons-in-law, Thomas Rollo and David Clegg.
Nada was a retired insurance advisor having worked for many insurance agencies in Steubenville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto, the Toronto, OH and Port Orange, FL Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the Toronto American Legion Auxiliary.
Visitation for Nada will be held Monday, Dec. 30 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am. Rev. Tyler Bayless will officiate and there will be no graveside service.
