Viola G. 'Vi' (Kiss) Torok

Viola G. ‘Vi’ Torok, 87, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away Thursday Jan. 11, 2018 in Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Vi was born Nov. 4, 1930 in Tiltonsville, OH, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Dickinson) Kiss.

She started her career with the US Postal Service as a clerk in Smithfield, OH and she retired as Postmaster of the Tiltonsville Post Office.

Vi was Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Piney Fork American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Social order of Beauceant and the Eastern Stars. She graduated from Warren Consolidated High School.

In addition to her parents, Vi was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Torok who passed in Oct of 2015; her sister, Mary Jane Yanok and her four brothers, George, Joe, Jack and Ronnie Kiss.

Surviving are her two sons, Greg (Cheryl) Torok and Douglas (Sherry) Torok both of Dillonvale, OH; her three daughters, Susan (Rick) Pastre of Smithfield, OH, LuAnn (Bill) Harms and Patricia (Mark) Brown both of Dillonvale, OH; her brother, Larry Kiss of Rayland, OH; her 8 grandchildren, Billy, Sara and Lindsay Harms, Ricky Pastre and Ashley Kirkland, Jamison, Justin and Joshua Torok and her 5 great-grandchildren; Ethan, Landyn, Keegan, Kallen and Kolten.

Family and friends will be received Monday Jan. 15, 2018 from 4 - 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH where her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Rev. Dan Holt will officiate and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
