Addie E. Verhovec, 73, of Rayland, Ohio passed away Saturday Dec. 22, 2007 in Sienna Woods Nursing Center in Wintersville. She was born Sept. 1, 1934 in Brilliant, (Garlic City) Ohio, daughter of the late Marrick 'Rufus' and Clara Hand Mayle. Addie was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband Julius in 1991, and three brothers, Millard, Samer, and Harvey Mayle.Surviving are her children, son Julius 'Jul' and his wife Jodee Verhovec of Smithfield, daughter, Patricia 'Patty' Wilt of Rayland, four grand-children; Michael (Tammy) Wilt of Mt. Pleasant, Jeffrey Wilt of Weirton, Karey (Anthony) Ralph of Streesboro, Ohio and Amie (Jonathan) Crunelle of Erie, Pa. One Great-grandchild, Madison Wilt of Mt. Pleasant. Four sisters, Lois Kerr of Mingo, Mary (Ken) Brodonski of AZ., Edith (Joe) Fetty of Mingo and Martha ( John ) Domenick of Smithfield. Two brothers, Earl (Agnes) Mayle of Brilliant and Glenn (Donna) Mayle of Ark. Friends and family may call on Wednesday Dec. 26th, from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am. Pastor Robert Carson will officiate the Services.
