Obituary

Albert Mitchell Eltringham, 66, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, surrounded by family. Mitch was such a fighter, battling cancer for the last 5 ½ years.

Mitch was born March 9, 1959, in Steubenville, son of the late Albert Eltringham and Beverly (Fullerton) Eltringham, who survives.

After graduating from high school, Mitch went to work at Hancock Mfg. in Toronto. He worked at many places after, most notably Signode in Half-Moon in Weirton, WV, and the First Energy – Sammis Plant in Stratton, where he was an equipment operator, until his retirement.

Mitch loved to travel, especially to Florida. He loved to just get in the car and drive. Mitch also liked to workout in his gym and he was an avid sports lover.

In addition to his father, Albert, Mitch was preceded in death by his two chocolate labs, Buddy and Cocoa.

Mitch leaves behind his mother, Beverly, of Toronto; his siblings, Trudi (John) McClurg, Rich (Bonnie) Eltringham, Christine (Mike) Radvansky, Lee Ann Eltringham, and Bill (Kelly) Eltringham, all of Toronto; several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Janice McClain of Toronto.

Friends will be received Sunday, April 13 for a memorial visitation from 2 PM to 6 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Memorial Service will follow at 6 PM with Rev. Kevin Rinkes. www.jefosterfh.com
