Albert E. "Ed" Tolley, 87, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Friday Feb. 12, 2010 in Trinity Medical Center West. Ed was born January 10, 1923 in Steubenville, son of the late Sidney and Buelah Bruns Tolley. Ed was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Brick Dept. Steubenville Plant, a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Tolley and Harold "Buck" Byrley. Surviving are his wife of 59 years Dorothy (Stewart) Tolley, whom he married on Aug. 5, 1950, his daughter Dotty Parker of Manassas, Va., two sons, Dale (Charlene) Tolley of Springboro, Ohio and Jim (Donna) Byrley of Steubenville. His sister Margaret Parker of Chatsworth, CA. and brother Eugene Tolley of Wintersville. 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St., Toronto, Ohio. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Steubenville.
