Alexis Jean West, 17, of Toronto, OH, died Friday March 12, 2021 as a result of a motorcycle accident near Empire, OH.

Alexis was born October 20, 2003 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of Lester C. West, III and Heather M. (Ryder) West.

She was currently a Junior at Toronto Jr./Sr. High School attending the Jefferson Co. JVS in the Early Childhood Education Program.

Alexis was such a kind and giving kid. She had a heart of gold and she always put others thoughts and needs ahead of her own. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We all loved her very much.

In addition to her father, Lester West, III, and Julia Modarelli of Toronto and her mother, Heather Ryder West of Dresden, OH, Alexis leaves behind her siblings, Jasmine, Lester C., IV, Jaylyn and Gabriella West; paternal grandparents, Lester and Betty West, II of Toronto and maternal grandparents, Mike and Linda Ryder of Dresden. Alexis also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, March 16 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Alexis funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 17 at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Prichard officiating.
