Alice Jane Bloomer, 82, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville, OH.

Janie was born March 18, 1940, in Toronto, daughter of the late Alex and Sarah (Dailey) Bloomer.

Janie was a graduate of Toronto High School; a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and she was retired from Convenient Food Mart where she worked as a cashier.

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Thomas Bloomer, and brothers, Richard and Dave Bloomer.

Janie leaves behind her daughter, Becky (Doug) Sutton of New Bern, NC; son, Scott (Ginger) Bloomer of Toronto; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10 from 10 am to 11 am the St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow at 11 am. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate, and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
