Althea Ann (Bartels) Wiant, 63, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 in the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Ann was born July 11, 1959 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Phyllis Jean (Bowles) Bartels.

Ann held many jobs throughout her life, some of which included Pytash Country Store, Rue 21, School of Bright Promise, Home Health, and Buckeye Valley Chimney helping her brother Terry. She attended Wintersville Methodist Church.

In addition to her mom Phyllis, Ann was preceded in death by her grandson, Kaleb Ryan Gibbs.

Ann leaves behind her husband, Marty D. Wiant, whom she married October 19, 1986; daughter, Christina (Andy) Hall; sons, Jay (Renata) Gibbs and Willie Gibbs, all of Toronto; brother, Terry (Terry Lynne) Bartles; two sisters, Cheryl (Vic) Rawson, and Eunice Cich all of Toronto; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Anns wishes were to be cremated with no services at this time. A Memorial Service/Gathering is being planned and will be announced.

Arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
