Alvera Polito, 95, of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Smithfield, OH, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 in the Sienna Nursing Home in Wintersville, OH.

Alvera was born March 14, 1922 in Connerville, OH, daughter of the late James and Josephine (Dinapoli) Polito.

She was Catholic by faith and she formerly worked at Paddys Diner and Weldays Apple Orchard.

In addition to her parents, Alvera was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe and Frank Polito and her sisters, Rose Owens, Margaret Rosohac and Katherine Vendetta. Alvera leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, Mar. 6 from 10 am til the time of her Funeral Service at 11 am at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Her burial will follow in Upland Cemetery in Yorkville, OH. www.jefosterfh.com
