Amanda J. Welday, 34, of Stratton, Ohio passed away Wednesday April 27, 2011 in Trinity Medical Center West. Amanda was born June 23, 1976 in Steubenville, Ohio, daughter of James D. Welday and Kathy J. Scheel who both survive. Amanda was formerly the Activies Director at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville before her illness and loved The Ohio State Buckeye's. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather James E. Welday.She is survived by her mother Kathy J. Scheel of Stratton, her father James D."Jim" Welday of Steubenville, her two daughters, Taylor Mosti of Highlandtown and Allison Phillips of Stratton. Her granddaughter, Savannah Mosti of Highlandtown. Her maternal grandparents, William "Bill" and Eileen Scheel of Stratton, her paternal grandmother, Doris Welday of Empire, Ohio. Several uncles, aunts and cousins also survive. Visitation for Amanda will be Thursday 7-9 pm. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Rev. Jeff Proya will officiate her Service and burial will follow in Sugar Grove Union Cemetery.
