Amy K. "Sis" (Fluharty) Grimes, 82, of Toronto, Ohio passed away at her home on Saturday Sept. 17, 2011. Sis was born March 27, 1929 in Belmont Co., Ohio; daughter of the late Thomas L. and Mary Duvall Fluharty. Sis was a homemaker, a member of the Toronto First Presbyterian Church and the Gleaner's Group of the Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, especially following them though out their sporting events they all participated in while growing up. In addition to her parents, Sis was preceded in death by her husband Jack G. Grimes in 1983, her Granddaughter Jackie Grimes 2006 and her two brothers Wilfred Lee and Russell Fluharty. Surviving is her daughter Linda (David) Moore and her son Thomas (Mary) Grimes all of Toronto. Her Grandchildren, Tommy (Jodi) Grimes, Jessica Moore, Mallory (Jake) Blanton and Matthew Moore. Her Great-Grandchildren, Landon Grimes and Lily Thompson-Moore. Her sister, Terry Westfall of Brilliant, her sisters-in-law Dorothy Fluharty of Steubenville, Kim Fluharty of Richmond and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 to 8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Michael Bongart will provide the Services for Sis and burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Amy Grimes c/o 515 E.
