Andrew"Andy" Ragets,89, of Steubenville formerly of Piney Fork, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening at the Merritt House on Lee Ridge RD. in Steubenville.Andy was born April 10, 1918 in Piney Fork, son of the late Joseph and Katherine Kozub Ragets. He was a retired employee of the former Kaul Clay Co., in Toronto, was a member of the former St. Therese R.C. Church in Piney Fork, a member of the Piney Valley Sportsman's Club, and the Piney Fork American Legion.Andy served his country during W.W. II as a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Corp.In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by; three sisters, Anna Kornetti, Mary Ragets, Josephine Hanks, and by four brothers, Joe, William, Marion, and John.Surviving are two brothers, Carl of Bradley, Ohio and Walter of NaplesFla, several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Saturday morning from 10 am. up til time of Andy's service which is at12:00noon, at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. in Smithfield. Father Jack McCoy will officiate his service.
