Andrew Victor "Vic" Shuma, 72, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday April 28, 2012 at his home. Vic was born December 4, 1939 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Andy and Anna Mohnacky Shuma. Vic was retired from Weirton Steel Corp., where he worked in the Sheet Mill, Production Planning Dept. He was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, the Knights of Columbus, Weirton Steel 25 Year Club and a longtime member of the Toronto Booster Club. Surviving are his wife Mary Ann (Pillar) Shuma, whom he married on June 6, 1966; his children, Mary Ann (Stacy) Annis of Stevensville, MI, Michael (Marie) Shuma, Marlene (Pete) Lamantia and Melissa (George) Kaldor all of Toronto, OH; his sister, Dorothy (John) Hrko of Pineville, WV. Vic also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Riley, Nolan and Conner Annis, Emily, Allison and Timothy Lamantia and Katie Kaldor; three nephews also survive. Visitation for Vic will be held on Tuesday May 1, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. Toronto, OH. Family will gather on Wednesday morning at the Funeral Home from 9am til 9:45 am. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow at 10 am at St. Francis R.C. Church with Father Thomas Vennetti as Celebrant.
