Andy R. Roset, 79, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Andy was born Dec. 22, 1939 in Bradley, OH, son of the late Joseph and Theda (Taylor) Roset.

Andy worked as a machine operator and retired from Nickles Bakery in Martins Ferry, OH. His memberships included, Hopedale Church of Christ, Cadiz American Legion Post #34 and the Smithfield Vol. Fire Dept. Andy was also a Veteran of the US Navy.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Diane J. (Klapka) Roset who passed in 2009.

Andy leaves behind his three children, Shari (Robert) Staten, Todd (Lori) Roset and Jeremy (Miranda) Roset all of Smithfield; his two brothers, Joseph Snook Roset of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jim (Carol) Roset of Wheeling, WV; his companion, Pam Cline of Hopedale, OH; his four grandchildren, Morgan and Hunter Staten, Kaitlyn Kalinski and Madison Roset and his great-granddaughter, Bella Shaye Kalinski.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, March 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH where his funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am. Dean Blythe will officiate and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.

Military Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Cadiz American Legion. Memorial donations may be directed to: Cadiz American Legion 336 E. Spring St. Cadiz, OH 43907.
