Ann E. Caniff, 98, of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the Sienna Skilled Nursing Center in Wintersville.

Ann was born November 7, 1926, in Steubenville, daughter of the late Adam and Anna (Suchocki) Sturgevic.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debi Caniff; two sisters, Mary Jones and Phyllis Went; brother, Russ Sturgevic; niece, Judy Robinson and great nephew, Randy Kniszek.

Ann is survived by her two daughters, Bernice Coulter and Cindy Caniff, both of Toronto; grandchildren, Vanessa and Barbie Coulter and Kenny Coulter; one great-grandchild, Gabriel Coutler; nieces, Anna Mae Kniszek of Dillonvale, OH, and Patty Jones of Pensacola, FL; nephews, Jimmy Sturgevic of Casselberry, FL, and Billy Jones of Wellsburg, WV; great nephew, Jimmy Robinson of Columbus, OH.

Ann's family would like to thank all of her caretakers at Sienna over the past six years.

Services for Ann are private and in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. She will be laid to rest with her mother in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
