Anna L. Gibbs, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday June 7, 2013 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. Anna was born on December11, 1938 in Clay County, WV, daughter of the late Wesley Truman and Della Bird Truman who survives.Anna was a former waitress and cook in the restaurant business.In addition to her father, Anna was preceded in death by her husband David Gibbs who passed away in 2002, her son Delana "Tink" Truman who passed in 2006, daughter-in-law Cathy Gibbs and three brothers, Roy, Ray and Carl Truman.Anna is survived by her best companion, Marvin L. Bates of Toronto, OH, her three sons, Bert Gibbs of Toronto, OH, John (Lisa) Gibbs of Kentucky and Lawrence Gibbs of NC, her daughter Georgia Ann (Gary) Carl of Alliance, OH, her mother Della Truman of Indore, WV, daughter-in-law Laura Truman of TN, three sisters, Beatrice Karr and Roberta O'dell both of Columbus, OH and Lenna Barker of MS, five brothers, Billy, Dana, Danny and Arthur Truman of Indore, WV and Roma Truman of LA. Anna also leaves behind 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many aunts, uncles cousins and nieces and nephews.Visitation for Anna will be held on Monday, June 10 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday, June 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rob Minto providing the service and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto, OH.Memorial contributions may be made in Anna's memory to the Tony Teramana Cancer Center 3204 Johnson Rd.
