Anna Spak, age 98, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 in the Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center in Arlington, VA.She is survived by daughters Kathy Moculski of Fairfax, VA and Margaret Sochacki and husband Adam of Palatine, IL, and by two grandchildren, Jennifer Ann and Adam Gregory. Mrs. Spak was born May 22, 1910 in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John and Eva Miklus, and was preceded in death by her husband John Spak on February 29, 1984,and by two brothers; John and Joseph and by four sisters; Mary, Julia, Kay and Helen. She was a member of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto, and resided for many years in Irondale before moving in 1987 to Fairfax to live with her daughter Kathy.Visitation for Anna will be held on Sunday, November 23 from 5-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, 701 Findley St. in Toronto where a Parastas service will be held at 6pm. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Father James Atkins officiating.
