Anna B. Strunak, 83 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Sat. April 7, 2012 at the Weirton Geriatric Center.Anna was born Oct. 16, 1928 in Toronto, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Mary Simal Strunak. Anna was a retired clerk working at the former A&P grocery store in Steubenville and was a member of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Katherine Strunak and Mary Zumer and by her brother John Strunak.Surviving are seven nieces and nephews; Richard Zumer of New Cumberland, Ronald Zumer of Georgia and Mary Ann Reese of Weirton. Michael Strunak of Weirton, Helen Madani of Wheeling, John Strunak of W.Va. and Joan Tourney of Fla. One great niece, one great nephew, 3 great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece.Special appreciation to Fred and Doris Matyas for their many years of caregiving and a special thank-you to the staff of Weirton Geriatric Center, for their professional and personal care.Visitation for Anna will be on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 am, at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto; follow by the Funeral Liturgy at 12 noon at St. Joseph Byzantine Church in Toronto. Father James Atkins will be the Celebrant and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
