Anthony ‘Tony’ Paul Licata, 86, of Toronto, OH passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Tony was born on November 27, 1939, in Hollidays Cove, WV, son of the late Charles and Frances Theresa (Polizzi) Licata. Tony was also preceded in death by his brother Chuck, niece Marisa and nephew Salvato.

Tony retired from Weirton Steel Corp., where he was worked in the Sheet Mill. He enjoyed trap shooting and was also a US Army veteran, having served during peacetime.

He leaves behind his wife, Barbara (Parker) Licata, whom he married on August 19, 1967; son, Anthony P. Licata, and girlfriend Tonya Kelley, of Toronto; three brothers, Joseph (Shirley) Licata, and Mike (Elaine) Licata, both of Weirton, WV, and Sam (Kathy) Licata of N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 15 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Tony will later be cremated, following his wishes, with burial held at the convenience of his family.
