Obituary

Anthony Francis Tyska, 92, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Wednesday Feb. 12, 2008 at his home. He was born May 21, 1915 in Anderson, Ind., son of the late Francis Tyska and Anna Marie (Grygo) Tyska Kowaleski . He was retired from Weirton Steel Corp., as a ladle man in the Blast Furnace Dept. Anthony was known for his work ethic, was an avid Pigeon Flier since he was 9 years old, thanks to his step-father William Boleslov Kowaleski. He was a member of the Toronto American Legion Post # 86, and served his country during W.W. II in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents and his step-father Anthony was preceded in death by; his wife Margaret Julia Bardun Tyska in 2005, his son-in-law, Frank Argentine in 2005, 4 sisters, Helen McHugh, Cecelia Michnowicz, Sophie Griffiths, and Mary Maus. Surviving are three daughters; Anita (David) Argentine of Toronto, with whom he resided, Christina (Robert) Lawrence of S.C., and Antoinette 'Toni' Agrentine of Steubenville. His sister Regina Zuk of Toronto, brother-in-law William 'Bill' McHugh of Poland, Ohio. 9 grandchildren; Christine Prysock Cummings, Kelly Ann Prysock Exterovich, William Prysock, Mark and Kimberly Skinner, Julie (Jeff) Argentine Maurer, Frank, Justin and Matthew Argentine. 8 Great-grandchildren. The Toronto American Legion Post #86 provided full military honors at a private graveside burial in Toronto Union Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by J.E.
