Obituary

Barbara E. Cameron, wife of the late Daniel E. Cameron, died on June 17, 2020.

She was born on October 21, 1940 in Palisades Park, NJ, daughter of the late Frances L. West and William G. McKenzie.

Barbara is survived by daughter, Holly W. (Matthew) Lewis of Colliers, WV; son, Daniel W. (Kelly) Cameron of Shelton, WA; grandchildren, Aislinn C. Lewis, Hunter AJ Lewis, Daniel D. Cameron and Caiden M. Cameron; great-grandchild, Audrianna L. Lewis; sister, Marsha E. (Charles) Maietta, and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a Registered Nurse in the Coronary Care Unit at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville for many years. She was Past Worthy Matron of Smithfield Chapter #332 Order of the Eastern Star and Past Grand Worthy Advisor, Order of Rainbow for Girls for the State of New Jersey.

She was a Girl Scout leader, Treasurer of the Smithfield Little League, and Sunday School teacher. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Steubenville, OH, the Episcopal Church Women and the Altar Guild. She was the Parish Nurse for the Urban Mission in Steubenville, taught crochet classes at the Prime Time Senior Citizens Center and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #557.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Eastern Star services will be held at 7 PM. The funeral will be at 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home followed by interment at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH.
