Barbara J. (Jelea) Barnes Doran, 91, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday June 25, 2021, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Barb was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Steubenville, daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Kulin) Jelea.

Barb retired from The Cattrell Co. in Toronto, where she worked as their secretary.

She was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church in Toronto and a former member of the choir. She was a 1947 graduate of Toronto High School, member of the Three Arts Club, enjoyed toll painting and loved cats.

In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her first husband, William M. Barnes and her second husband, Thomas J. Doran; her brother, Eugene; maternal grandparents, Martha and James Kulin and her aunts and uncles.

Surviving are her children, W. Todd (Michele) Barnes, Gregg E. (Judy) Barnes both of Toronto and Barbara Yajko Price (David) of Calcutta, OH; stepsons, Dan (Erica) Doran of Syosset, NY, Michael (Diana Finzi) Doran of Bethesda, MD, Patrick Doran of Chandler, AZ and Christopher (Sarah) Doran of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Joshua Barnes and Zachary Green, Ashley (Jeremy) Fabian, Alyson (Shawn) Dunn, and Mallory (Joshua) Ludwig; three great-granddaughters, Teryn and Teagan Ludwig and Peyton Dunn; two great-grandson, Luca Fabian and Cael Dunn and six step-grandchildren.

Barbaras wishes were to be cremated, with no services observed with burial at the convenience of the family. Arrangements for Barb are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
