Barbara Ann (Dukes) Knight, 69, of Empire, OH, passed away suddenly Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. Barb was born on July 18, 1943 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Louis and Helen Kowalsky Dukes. Barb was a homemaker, a member of the Empire United Methodist Church and a former member of ALANON in East Liverpool, OH.Surviving is her husband John A. "Jack" Knight of home; her three sons, John A. (Tracey) Knight of Wellsville, OH, Joseph A. (Sheri) Knight and Jeffrey (Cynthia) Knight all of Toronto, OH; four sisters, Helen Dukes Martin of Toronto, Delores (Paul) Barone of Weirton, WV, Mary (Mikael) Jensen of Columbus, OH, Anne (Edward) Perun and one brother Louis "Louie" Dukes all of Toronto; seven grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter and her best friend, her dog Cherokee. Visitation for Barb will be held on Sunday Jan. 6, 2013 from 2 - 6 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto, OH, where her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am. Rev. Al Talkington will preside and burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto, OH.
