Barbara L. "Hey Barb" (Fechik) Doran, 69, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, December 05, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family.Barb was born January 14, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Nicholas and Faye Marie (Shoebrooks) Fechik.Barb was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto; she was previously employed by the former Stacey's IGA and Kwik King Food Stores in Toronto. Barb was a member of the Toronto Eagles Auxiliary, the Toronto American Legion and also the Toronto VFW.Barb is survived by her husband, Jerry Doran, of the home, whom she married on December 10, 1993; her son Ed (Linda) Sninchak of Charlotte, NC, her daughter Kathy (Steve) Snyder of Follansbee, WV, her daughter Christina (Dennis) Hickman of Charlotte, NC, and her son Steve (Bobbi Lynn) Sninchak of Toronto, OH. Barb is also survived by her grandchildren, David and Danny Sninchak, Ashley Snyder, Dennis, Dustin and Diana Hickman, Spenser and Nicholas Sninchak and her 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Barb will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at 9:15am at the funeral home followed by Barb's Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto with Fr. Thomas Vennitti as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made in Barb's memory to your local American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
