Barbara J. Reese, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH.

Barb was born June 24, 1948, in Steubenville, daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Young) Gorney.

She was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Toronto and a 1966 graduate of Toronto High School.

Barb worked for over 20 years for Bank One in Toronto and upon their closure she went on to work for another 13 years for Walmart. She worked in shipping and receiving for both companies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Butch Reese, Jr., her son, Tom Reese, and her siblings, Craig, Vicki and Joe.

Barb leaves behind her son, William Bill Reese of Toronto and her daughter, Sarah Reese and companion Tom Sullivan of Steubenville; sister, Linda (Burt) Crume of Gentry, AR; three grandsons, Mitch, Kenny, and Dalton Reese, and three great-grandchildren. Barb also leaves behind her friends whom she loved dearly and were a very big part of her life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 16 at 5 PM at the Cornerstone Church in Toronto. Pastor Raul Diaz will officiate, and a dinner will follow in the social hall.
