Barbara Jean (Stone) Risnear, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday May 18, 2021 in the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Barb was born Oct. 15, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Richard Edward and Thelma J. (Stevens) Stone.

Barb was a homemaker and formerly worked a Elbys at the Mall in Steubenville. She was a member of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto.

Barb was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Crabtree, her grandfather James L. Stevens, and her grandmother Mary Jane Corbin Stevens Dembeck.

Surviving is her husband, John D. Risnear whom she married Aug. 3, 1973; daughter Ginger Russell of Wintersville, OH; son John Paul Risnear of Toronto; granddaughter Brittani Russell of Wintersville; sister Audrey Jones (Bob) Foster of Pittsburgh, PA; sister-in-law Alice Stevens of Follansbee, WV.

Visitation will be held Sunday May 23, 2021 from 2 to 6 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Panachida Service will follow at 6 PM with Rev. Father John Kapitan, Jr. OFM presiding.

Family and friends will gather Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:15 to 10 AM and then proceed to Toronto Union Cemetery for Barbaras burial. www.jefosterfh.com
