Rebecca S. Becky Thompson, 82, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2024, in the Sienna Skilled Nursing Center in Wintersville, OH.

Becky was born May 22, 1942, in E. Liverpool, OH, daughter of the late Charles H. and Emma E. (Jarvis) Thompson.

Becky retired from the Weirton Steel Corp., where she worked in the Human Resource Dept.

She was a 1960 graduate of Toronto High School, a majorette in the band, and a member of the 1959 Homecoming Court. She was also a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her sister, Regina and husband Joseph Falasca.

Surviving is her nephew, John (Terri) Falasca of Toronto; three nieces, Mitzi (Steve) Fall of Cincinnati, OH, Lori (Jim) Sestito of Clearwater, FL, and Wendy (Eric) Henry of Toronto; seven great-nieces, two great-nephews, four great-great nephews and three great-great nieces.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, from 12 noon to 3 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where her funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
