Bernice A. West 93, of Bloomingdale (McIntyre), OH, passed away Tuesday Nov. 25, 2014 in the Carriage Inn in Steubenville, OH.

Bernice was born March 23, 1921 in Fernwood, OH, daughter of the late Chester C. and Lydia A. West.

She was a member of Shaffer Chapel AME Church in McIntyre where she was active as a missionary, Steward and Stewardess Board and she was a member of the Smithfield Senior Citizen group.

Visitation and Funeral Services will take place on Monday Dec. 1, 2014 at the Shaffer Chapel A.M.E. Church in McIntyre with visitation from 10 am til time of the service at 11 am. Burial will follow in McIntyre Cemetery.
