Bertha A. Ingler, 79, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away Thursday Oct. 3, 2013 at her home. Bertha was born January 22, 1934 in Bradley, OH, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Szilagyi Torok. Bertha was a homemaker and a member of the Smithfield Presbyterian Church.In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Torok, Margaret Klapka, Mary Bartek and six brothers, Joseph, Andrew, John, Julius, Harry and Steve Torok. Bertha leaves behind her husband of 53 years, David J. Ingler, whom she married on Sept. 27, 1960; her children Elizabeth Martin of Akron, OH, David (Rhonda) Ingler of Poolesville, MD, and Lisa (Tom) Heather of Erie, CO; three grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Heather and Joey Ingler. She is also survived by one sister Irene Rock of Madison, OH, two brothers Louis (Vi) Torok of Dillonvale and James (Bev) Torok of Smithfield. Visitation for Bertha will held on Sunday Oct. 6, 2013, from 1-3 pm and 5-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield, OH, where Services will be held on Monday at 11 am. Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate the service and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: Valley Hospice Inc., 10686 St. Rt. 150 Rayland, OH 43943.
