Obituary
Betty Mae (Lipscomb) Zorne, 86, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Heaven gained a gentle soul.
Betty was born February 26, 1936, in Toronto, daughter of the late James Lipscomb and Freda (Phelps) Bowers.
She was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel with 32 years of service in the Clerical Union. Betty was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Pat Flood, second husband, Eugene Zorne, and her son, Bill Flood.
Betty leaves behind two sons, Robert E. Flood and David C. (Nancy) Flood, and daughter-in-law, Marla Flood, all of Toronto; sister, Evelyn Byers of Wintersville, OH; three grandchildren, Derek Flood, Lauren (Paul) Baker, and Rory Agge; two great-grandchildren and one niece and nephew.
Per Bettys wishes, a private service was held at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, and she was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hopedale, OH.
