Beverly J. (Bartels) Torok, 81, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Wednesday Jan. 10, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving children.

Beverly was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Short Creek Twp, OH, daughter of the late Earl and Alberta (Donley) Price.

Beverly was a homemaker and a member of the Smithfield Presbyterian Church.

Beverly was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mother, raising her family, and always being available for them. Her family has always been grateful for that. She loved her outdoor flowers, family get-togethers, and holidays that were always at her home. She was truly the glue that held the family together and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Cowboy Torok, July 11, 2017, twin sister, Betty Gibbons and sister, Mary Lou Madzia.

Surviving is her son, James J. (Crystal) Torok and two daughters, Sondra Torok and Cindy Torok Corona, both of Rayland, OH; five grandchildren, Sanford L. Linn III (fianc Amanda Donohue), Nathaniel J. (Kassandra) Linn, Nicole E. Cesario (fianc Zack Bonds) and Caitlin M. (Jordan) Case), Brooklyn S. Torok; five great-grandchildren, Kaci N. and Luke Bonds, Charlotte Case, Scarlett James Linn, and Penelope Case.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 14 from 12 noon to 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am. Wally Jancura will officiate and burial will follow in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
