Blanche E. Sherwood, 71, of Dunedin, FL, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 05, 2011 in the Mease Countryside Hospital in Clearwater, FL.Blanche was born April 30, 1940 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Walter and Lily Fisher. She was a 1958 graduate of Toronto High School.In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her sister Betty Howard; her brothers, Thomas, Richard and William Fisher.Blanche is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tony of the family home in FL, her daughters, Michelle (Dennis) Stark of San Marcos, CA, Lesley Wahl of North Port Richey, FL, and Jonita Harder of Vancouver, WA; her son Scott Sherwood of Fairborn, OH; Blanche is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Ann (Ron) Garren of Louisville, OH; two brothers, Harry Thurman Fisher of Toronto, OH and David Lee Fisher of Wintersville, OH; four sister-in-laws, Jane Fisher of Toronto, OH, Betty Fisher of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ruth Fisher of Riverview, FL, and Ellen Sherwood of Matteson, IL and several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Blanche will be held on Friday, July 8 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. There will be additional visitation on Saturday from 10am up til the time of Blanche's service at 11am with Pastor Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
